Going through the sales process is usually a “car dealer” experience. But at Carl Cannon, it was a delightful experience. They questioned me for the type of vehicle I was wanting with what features, and the vehicle was readily available. I had phoned the dealership about a new key fob for my 2019 Acadia. I asked the price which was quoted at $207.30. I made an appointment with Carl Cannon and was at the dealership as we had planned. When I arrived, the service manager took my car and proceeded with the service. After approximately 2 2/2 hours the service manager brought me the invoice and, to my surprise, said the key fob was $466.00 and not the amount I was quoted. For this reason, I seriously am considering going to another dealership. It is time to purchase two new vehicles and it is upsetting that I may not be able to buy from Carl Cannon since I have bought 6 new vehicles from this dealership over the past 20 years.

We understand your frustration Mr. Capps and it frustrates us too! We have to buy hundreds a year for used cars and the average cost this year across all brands for an actual OEM fob was over $450 with programming, and that number will only go up in 2026. The price you were quoted was for the Fob itself and the labor was if you wanted us to program it. It's my understanding you told Zach you had to have it, so go ahead and program it. If that isn't accurate please let me know so I can address it! If an employee lied to you then lied to me, that's completely unacceptable at Carl Cannon and it will be handled appropriately. I was a drive up and I was there around 45 minutes. Can not complain about anything. Your service rep was very nice and polite and treated me with the utmost respect. The only thing I can say is the price for an oil change and filter is gotten to be too expensive. $92.00 is alot in my eyes for this service. Especially when the service department was not busy at all.

I’m giving an excellent rating to Shelby and all the staff of Carl Cannon. I give GMC a poor rating for not taking action on the upper radiator hose issue with the 2024 Acadia. The fact it took just over two weeks to get a replacement hose is unbelievable. Why not keep the part in stock since it’s an issue with GMC, Buick and Chevrolet. Now I’m wondering what will happen next!!! By the way, my 2024 Acadia has just under 13,000 miles.

The parts issue is awful and not getting better anytime soon unfortunately with parts suppliers from all over the world dealing with the tariff and international shipping situations. There are some parts we have been waiting on for over 45 days. Its a horrible feeling when you can't repair your good customer's vehicles in a timely fashion due to parts availability. I purchased a '99 Z-28 Camaro several weeks ago, out of state. I called Shelby Gilbert to see if the dealership still worked on 27 year old cars, because, the front end suspension had to be replaced and new tires put on it. It needed a front end alignment. She got me in that afternoon and the service techs were great about checking out my "old" car. Carl Cannon takes car of my 2024 Trax that I purchased there as well and my 2013 Z-71 when it needs care. They are awaiting my arrival in my '84 Z-28. Everyone is always so nice and helpful.

Totally happy with Zac and this was not his fault at all! I made my appointment online and I added in the notes to rotate AND balance my tires and the girl admitted that she took the rotate part off of my service request “because nobody does that anymore” I told her I put that there on purpose because I wanted it done! This really upset me! Maybe she needs to be educated on the proper care of the life of tires. I didn’t know any of this until I came to pick up my truck and I didn’t have time to wait to get the tires balanced! Zac was really nice accommodating me to have this done at my convenience. This was not Zac’s fault at all!

Start to finish I felt like my truck needs were important. The young sales lady, Bri, was amazing. My wife had the experience and she said she got treated extremely well. I will say though that they rotated her tires but didn't recalibrate the tpms. The bad sensor in the front left tire still showed to be there as it was before we brought it in, but in reality it had been moved to the left rear when I went and got it replaced. They obviously didn't look at the instrument cluster to notice that, and nothing was said to my wife about even having a bad sensor on the car.

I've got a Tahoe with 173,000 miles on it. I originally bought it because it drove like a new one, so I tried to make special attention to preserve it. I've had several GM vehicles with over 100,000 miles that if you lifted them by the frame, they would wander afterwards. I made an appointment and told Shelby (the service advisor booking me on the phone for a 7:30am appointment) that the last time I was down there with the Tahoe that I was really impressed with the workmanship that day and that Magan (a former service advisor) had told me that Eddie worked on it last time. (It turned out NOT to be Eddie) Anyway, I left a note in the Tahoe for the technician/mechanic saying "DO NOT LIFT BY FRAME". My thinking was that when he read it, if he couldn't lift it by the suspension, then he would come tell me first before just going off on his own. Even if you disagree with the customers reasoning, you respect their wishes. So I'm thinking I'm getting the same mechanic as last time, so I never thought anymore about it. I also thought if it wasn't the same mechanic, surely someone would let me know. Then around 4pm I finally got to see this video the mechanic made where I see it's NOT the same mechanic as last time. Then I see on the video the Tahoe lifted by the frame. I started having a bad feeling. And sure enough I drive it home and it doesn't drive the same anymore. The car wanders, didn't track as straight. The steering feels looser, not as firm. I'm so unhappy that I've made the decision to sell my Tahoe. I thought this was going to be my last vehicle. But I guess not. I can not drive my regular everyday car like that. I'm very disappointed and am now out a lot of money from having to go through the selling buying process AGAIN. Thanks a lot for not doing as I requested.
